Back From Cruise
Nov 18, 2010 – 14:11PMSorry about the lack of updates. I was on an 8 day cruise without any internet access. I thought I would have some access while I was out and was planning on posting then, but I didn't. I was out on a cruise doing training with the WPT APL (World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League). Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but I don't like to post when exactly I'm going to be out of town except for major events like the WSOP etc.
Anyways, I had a great time on the cruise. We went to Grand Cayman, Belize, Isle of Roatan off the coast of Honduras and Cuzamel, Mexico. I really didn't know what to expect because this is the first time I've gone to a teaching event where I literally knew only one person (Lee Childs, the other instructor) before I stepped on the boat. It was a lot of fun though. It was a great group that knows how to have a good time, that's for sure.
Because of that I've had a lot less time to play poker this month so far than I normally would, so I don't have a lot of results or play to share. In my last post I'd talked about focusing on cash games all month and I've already kind of abandoned that and played some 6 max sit n gos. I couldn't help myself, there isn't always a lot of cash game selection earlier in the morning and sometimes I like to be able to just shove chips around.
I don't have another obligation for around a month and even that one is only for a couple of days with internet access, so I should be back to updating a couple of times a week at least again, I hope everyone is doing well and for those of you in the states, have a great Thanksgiving in case I don't update again before that!
